Fantastic! I was pulling off some stuck toe skin yesterday and I was looking closely at his toes and I think he’s missing a few knuckes. I tried to take pictures but my camera wouldn’t focus. Maybe I’ll try again later.

He’s had his first shed with me and is eating well. I’ve been working on the whole cricket thing, and now instead of carefully dumping some crickets I can pick up the egg carton. My cats haven’t eaten him (my parents are completely convinced that’s what will happen) although one day I did catch my cat looking at the crickets intently. He’s a dummy.

I’ve named him Julio. I was considering “Panther” in the beginning (because he’s a LEOPARD gecko and I thought it would be funny to name him after another big cat) but then Ben suggested Julio and I resisted it at first but after like a week I realized it had stuck.

Basically he’s a cutie pie and I really need to work on making his cage prettier. I’ll probably call Lowes/Home Depot and ask if they can cut tiles today.
