Something about them was beautiful, a masterpiece. The way they swooped through the air and land gracefully on a pine branch- it was fascinating to watch.
I respected them, the little birds. They were gorgeous, and not afraid to let their voices pierce through the day when the skies had not even a hint of blue in them.
Artwork, they were. I eat artwork up.
