This is the dumbest thing ever. How is that “on point”? MEN ARE NOT ALL EVIL. Can we stop with this BS? Stop making generalizations about all men and how they are all terrible. Feminism isn’t about superiority and beating down men… it’s about equality. Stop just stop.

I guess people don't understand the fact that the tweet was satirical, because I've seen a number of people commenting on this saying "a real operator wouldn't/shouldn't do that."

The fact is, you're completely right. A real operator shouldn't do that. But that isn't the idea. The fact is, some guys respond to women saying that they feel threatened by men by saying "Not all men are like that."

The fact is, nobody cares if not all men are like that. We know not all men are like that, but it doesn't change the fact that women can not and do not feel safe around a lot more men than should be acceptable.

You can’t “just stop saying sorry”. You do something, something so little, like accidentally bump into someone. You feel horrible about it. Your brain starts panicking and you have trouble trying to breathe. You stutter an apology. They say it’s okay, but you accidentally do it again, and you apologize again. They just say “Aha, you can stop saying sorry.” And you feel horrible that you’ve probably made them angry or upset, so you mutter out an apology for the third stupid time, and they just say to stop saying sorry. Stop saying sorry. 

You can’t just tell someone to stop saying you’re sorry.
