The shadows often kept her company as the night was her home, but it was easy to tell that she was far from alone. Creatures that seemed to exist solely on paper existed in the twin rivers town which only heightened her curiosity. A danger which enhanced the fear she didn’t want to face lingered on her demeanor. Standing on a distant bridge that crossed a simple walkway, Lucy leaned against the side before she lifted herself to sit on the edge. Feet dangled and she watched as her prey sniffed about in the bushes. When it bolted from a simple vibration, Lucy smiled but didn’t look back. “You owe me dinner, whoever you are.”
