Name: Hero, she/her

Year: Junior

Major: Mechanical Engineering

Story: Fantasy Hero

Loop Ending: took a Stab at babysitting; turns out she’s not Cut out for it (A fight. She lost a duel with some high stakes)

current roommate. seems pretty friendly, as all fantasy heroes tend to be. Too friendly. it's annoying.

comes from a small rural town, used to live on a farm. coming to MOTIF college seems to be her first time in the city. doesn't quite get it yet.

cares a lot about her family, talks about them often, but never goes home over breaks.

hardworking and kind to all. However, has a fatal flaw like any good fantasy hero; her pride. has to do things her way, and by herself.

on an epic quest to find secret blueprints known only to the school elites so she can save her family farm. somehow. maybe selling the prints?

other notes: surprisingly good with technology for growing up in the country. / hates dark mode on phones for some reason?? / likes music and cooking. / good at dancing, bad at singing or playing guitar. / drives a dirty old jeep with pink hubcaps. / i'm pretty sure she has prophetic dreams but she keeps denying it to me.

page 3; Xionona

Name: Xionona, she/her

Age: I think like 27?

Year: Grad Student

Major: Astronomy

Story: still trying to decide if she's a protagonist. or a mentor. or an antagonist?

Loop Ending: Ensures we all go out with a Bang (honestly, I have no idea what she's doing, but it makes the lights go out and everything catch fire.)

International student. I think she's from Namibia?

Very enthusiastic. Especially about astronomy. president of the astronomy club and will strong arm anyone and everyone she sees into joining. suuuper smart but her people and practical skills could use work.

Doesn't seem to understand the looping day stuff, but may know some more about dolsey's comet. and about what dolsey's comet could bring or do.

other notes: a TA in the science department. her undergraduate fans like to call her black miss frizzle. / really loves tech and adaptive tech. / thinks all american food is inferior to her food at home. she's probably right. / biiig into conspiracy theories, but like. the ones that aren't incredibly offensive to minority groups. I think she just thinks the moon landing was faked or something. / may be the only person willing to go along with my theories about me and the comet.

page 6; Nursing Major

I have no idea who she is. I'm assuming, through context clues, that she's a nursing major at MOTIF college. But not even that is confirmed. I have nothing solid about her.

however, I see her every day loop. I see her someplace different every day loop. she's the only one that I see consistently change actions.

she always smiles at me when she sees me. we never talk, she's always gone as fast as she appears.

but I think she knows about the loops. I think she's seeing them the same way I do. that's an ally I need on my side.

Name: Nomer, he/him

Age: I'm so bad at judging kid ages. In between the ages of 8 and 12?

Story: young hero

Loop Ending: was running from someone, gets caught.

honestly, don't know much about what's going on with him. All I know is that he came banging on our apartment door and begged us to let him hide. Hero, being the hero that she always is, obliged him. He keeps eating my cereal and taking yogurts out the fridge.

won't really tell us any details. I just know that he has something that someone wants and it would be really bad news if they got it.

I'd be more annoyed but honestly he seems like an alright kid. Only takes his headphones off when he's being directly spoken to. I think his nervous habit is chewing on his shirt, because he's basically worn tooth holes into the collar.

basically Hero's problem now.

Name: August, he/him

Age: 20 or 21, not sure

Year: Junior

Major: Photography

Story: Horror. good luck dude

Loop Ending: his plus one turned into a minus seven (or more).

former classmate, he helped me with quantitative reasoning. dated DT but broke up a while back.

when I first met him, he seemed so full of life and excited to be at school. then classes destroyed him and now he's burnt out and kind of pathetic.

lost his roommate's cat?? and while searching for the cat started seeing someone or something stalking him in the shadows. I think he's still in denial, but I hope for his sake and everyone else's he gets shocked out of that soon.

other notes: I haven't talked to him since he and DT broke up. it's kind of funny he's coming back around. / used to send texts with perfect punctuation and emojis. now doesn't even capitalize or use periods. no emojis. / apparently keeps getting threatening messages and sees things out of the corner of his eye. / his monster, and by association he himself, are the biggest cause of things going wrong at the end of loops. top priority

Name: Daphne Taylor. I call her DT. she/her

Age: 19

Year: Sophomore

Major: Psychology

Story: Romance protagonist

Loop Ending: broken hearted. this doesn't seem that bad but she sure makes it seem like the apocalypse.

somewhere between "friend" and "uber driver with downsides". I think she's using me to look good while meeting potential romantic interests.

absolute hopeless romantic. still broken up over her last long term love from about a half a year ago. he was my math tutor.

moderately romance obsessed, but it works for her genre. if she wants to be on someone's mind, she'll make it happen one way or another.

other notes: she really is a terrible uber driver. she always forgets to pick me up. / has surprisingly good organizational skills. / caffeine addiction. / works at a perfume store that makes my allergies go crazy. / frankly, I don't remember how or why we met each other. it's irrelevant anyways.
