Meet my blob child!

The name ‘Sliro’ is a combination of slime and iro (色), the Japanese word for color. I decided to make Sliro genderless because blob child cares not for gender, only for nearby shinies.

Also, here’s a reference for periwinkle, just cause I feel like including it.

Story Time:

This idea came to me today during math class. I saw a post about how we are all comprised of shapes, so I practicing sketching bodies with just basic shapes, as I planned to draw Rei for my Commander AU after class (this plan was thrown out the window when once blob child was conceptualized). Then, I randomly drew some diamonds, like how characters in anime sometimes get literal stars in their eyes.

And I had this thought of “do any Pokémon have eyes like this? What could a Pokémon with those eyes be based upon?” and it all went from there. Most of the details I came up with are in the image, but one not written (yet visually kind of obvious) is that I decided to base this blob on galaxy slime.
