I love how the description for Echoes of the Empire #4 made it seem like Hondo personally ratted Han out to Harkos (why would he when Chewie is there) when in reality there's nothing to imply he did and his "betrayal" is just him taking advantage of the situation seeing an OPPORTUNITY! to steal borrow the Millennium Falcon (again) (also I CALLED IT I KNEW THIS WAS GOING TO EXPLAIN HOW HE'S GOT IT IN THE UPDATE)

The animatronic of him at Galaxy's Edge was actually one of the reasons I got into Star Wars myself! So so SO cool. You're more than welcome to message me off anon and talk if you want! I know that despite him being a fan favorite there's not really a lot of people that talk about him in depth (like lore, headcanons, etc) and some of the people who do are kind of...full of themselves, for lack of a better way to put it lol
I don't care if people call it pointless fanservice or whatever, I need an Ezra + Kay + Hondo meetup in live action or even a comic or something because that's yet another thing wrong with that dlc. No Ezra mention even though it would've fit perfectly! Like I'm convinced all they did was watch the Dooku Captured two parter for Hondo "research" and for Kay they just...conveniently forgot everything they already wrote for her lmao

Every once in a while I remember somebody thought it was a good and not at all questionable idea to insinuate that Kay's attraction to women was only because she has "attachment issues" but that somehow doesn't imply to ND-5 the man droid who is totes her romantic soulmate and I want to bang my head against a wall
Sometimes I wonder if I should keep my mouth shut with dumping/correcting lore if I don't know if the person is going to react positively considering I already got kicked out of a Discord server and blocked by someone for doing it...I'm definitely not trying to sound like an asshole 99% of the time I'm just legitimately actually autistic

Wait I just remembered another (much more minor and silly) opportunity that was wasted in that dlc...why didn't we get more of the rebels and Kay being dismayed that Hondo likes and helps them too
It's so funny but also incredibly awkward to go looking back at my initial feelings about that dlc where I was like "It was fun! I'm disappointed they didn't do this and that but I still liked it" to "I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT ND-5, THIS SHOULD'VE BEEN ABOUT KAY (AND HONDO)"
Hondo really rubs me the wrong way, I generally don't like pirate/treasure hunt themed characters, (Idk why really) but something about him makes all the red flags ring in my head. Maybe it's the manipulations...

It's because that dlc should've been more about Kay's feelings and how her and Hondo both canonically came from very similar backgrounds where they were raised to be criminals by neglectful/outright abusive mothers who abandoned them as children and get to learn from each other 😌 But instead they made it about ND-5's feelings and undid most of Kay's character development (and to a lesser extent Hondo's) + made her stupid because the internet only cares about the hot droid and not the actual player character who is a dumb ugly woman 😒 (unless they're using her as a self insert to ship with the droid)

The way I didn't want to hate on a ship that much/not like ND-5 but the shippers/fans make it impossible with all the crap they do, especially the "ignoring all the women in the game that already exist" thing which to me makes them no better than the grifters whining about how there's "too many" women
Star Wars Outlaws is a game first and foremost about unscrupulous women wearing cool jackets
