Ravus's boots announce his arrival as he approaches you, a rare smile crossing his lips as his eyes meet yours. Reaching his hands from behind his back he holds out a small platter that carries a simple cake that has been meticulously frosted and holds a single candle in the center. "Happy birthday, love" his greeting is soft but heartfelt as he tries not to show his anticipation for your reaction to his baking.
To be honest, she had to take a glance over her shoulder as the high commander stood for her. Was there someone else around her that she was being mistaken for…? A look over her shoulder, a spin around to do a full 360 degree look around, and alas – no one else. She stopped and looked down at the cake, then to Ravus, then back down at the cake. Quiet she was, for a good long moment as she fixated her gaze on the cake. And soon, her shoulders began to shake as she quickly pushed up her concentration glasses and huffed out her cheeks.
“Give me a sec, okay? You really caught me off guard with it…!” She had to pull her hands away after she pushed her glasses up into her hair, fanning her face as she felt tears rushing from her eyes as her lips pressed together as tight as they could to keep a dumb grin from taking over her face. To little avail, however, as she blew out the candle and looked up at the commander with a toothy smile and a teary face. “Thank you…! It’s so nice of you, that I’m- And you without warning just…!” She lets out a noise crossed between a grunt and a whimper before she leans forward with her forehead pressed against the commander’s chest. “Why you gotta be nice to me? You’re making it hard to word properly.”
