A flashback of working 44 days in a row and yearning to be on the move again. Then to realize it’s been 44 days since departure from that little island I call home. Satisfaction fills me as I reflect on all the adventures that have occurred since then and how they out-do any that I dreamt of prior to leaving. The connections and friends I’ve made along the way are sweeter than I could have imagined and the memories we made are mine to keep. The difference in perspective of time spent stagnant and time spent traveling is drastic. The stagnant days now seem to be a blur, but the days spent meandering new atmospheres feel like decades.
