MOOD BOARDS: SLOANE EDWARDS
“I’m just glad I don’t need pot right now to get me through the shit this week has in store. Nor do I need it to help me come up with the shit this week has in store.”
♀ Sloane Edwards · Seventh Year · Slytherin · Adelaide Kane · MEME
They say the youngest twin is always the weakest, at least, they seem to rely on their older sibling the most. That might be the case for Danica and Sloane, since Danica was always a lot tougher and more aggressive than her younger sister. So maybe in a sense, Sloane did rely on her for many things. She trusted her to be there to threaten people who even looked at Sloane the wrong way, not that the girl wasn’t completely capable of doing it herself with her sharp tongue. She trusted Danica to be there three seconds left in a match to team up with her and get the winning point. She trusted Danica to fist pump with her when she figured out how to finally get the car running, dirt stained face and all. And Danica in turn trusted Sloane with all the things she did in return.
That didn’t mean that she couldn’t fend for herself, she was just as scary as Danica, just as clever. She was half the brains behind their plan to get kicked out of Beauxbatons, the school their mother and siblings went to that they were completely suffering in, being the charismatic, fiesty girls that they were. Truth is, Sloane is definitely the calmer sibling. She’s the rational thinker in Danica’s quick instinct to take someone out, which people commonly mistaken for her being inferior to her sister. But Sloane’s got the same amount of body weight as her twin, the same amount of stamina and brute force, and if push comes to shove she won’t hesitate to punch you first.
She is swift, sly, and cunning, much like her house and patronus would show. Her keen senses allow her to succeed in the sports and games she plays, and she keeps an eye out for everyone around her, having quick reflexes and allowing herself to be one step ahead of everybody else. It’s something she’s worked out subconsciously, being it her need to always be on top of a situation. She likes winning and being on top, it reminds her that just because she’s the younger twin she doesn’t have to be the weaker one. So what she lacks in Danica’s traits, she makes up in her own. Intelligent, calm, ambitious, she works on cars and technology, and people. Danica jumps and then thinks, Sloane thinks and then jumps.
Parents: Victor and Minnie Edwards (née Chambliss)
"There's three seconds left in the game, two players on your left, one coming straight for you, snitch barely visible. What do you do?" "Win."

Full Name: Sloane Odella Edwards
Nicknames: Sloane.
Date of Birth: August 6th (Leo), 16
Slytherin Leos can be either very good, or very bad. At their best, they exemplify all that “nobility" is made of: confidence, openness, charm, initiative, generosity of spirit, wisdom, judgment, and poise. At their worst, they become elitist, bullying bigots. How they end up depends on the company they keep, and how they are encouraged to act early in life. Either way, they never lack attention - it’s hard to ignore a Slytherin born under this sign. These Slytherins usually end up in positions of responsibility and leadership, because of their charisma and natural ability. Their creativity and drive also makes them very resourceful.

You will often hear the ignorant say that red oak is an infallible sign of its owner’s hot temper. In fact, the true match for a red oak wand is possessed of unusually fast reactions, making it a perfect duelling wand. Less common than English oak, I have found that its ideal master is light of touch, quick-witted and adaptable,

It was something that always scared her as a little girl, the noise and light made her panic, and her sister was usually the one to calm her down when they hid under the blankets. Now, it’s more the sense of being lost in one, and the vulnerabilty weather puts on a person. So in reality, her real boggart is being vulnerable and out of control.
