Dylan was drunk off her ass, she had never been this wasted, not even in college and it was a school night but she had been so... upset about finding out her mother had had another child, she had an older sister and hid it from her for... Well her whole life and then ambushed her with said older sister without any kind of warning, granted it was less awful than what she had imagined, one of her parents dying or getting divorced or her being adopted, she couldn’t believe her father had lied to her, he kept sending her texts about it was not something for him to tell her, it was her mother’s past and blah blah.
So here she was at a bar, her father kept transferring money to her personal account, saying she could his card, that she had for emergencies, like money would fix years of lies. She huffed.
She felt a hand rub her back, she had her head buried in her arms and she was sitting by the bar and honestly couldn’t even remember the last hour.
“Hey.” She heard a voice say next to her, the soothing motion on her hand continued. “Here’s your girl.” She heard and gentle hands grabbed her by the shoulders and pulled her up, she saw the face of a very good looking stranger and she smiled all drunkenly at her.
“Hey, I’m Dylan.” She said and the stranger woman chuckled.
“I know, honey, we’ve known each other for the last hour.” She added and pushed Dylan gently against a warm body behind her. “She was talking about sisters and liars and buying a yacht for revenge and donating it for charity, she bought drinks for the whole bar at least twice... I didn’t want anyone taking advantage and she mentioned you a couple of times.” The stranger talked to the warm body Dylan was leaning against. The woman looked from Dylan to whoever was behind her a couple of times before a playful smirk pulled at her lips that Dylan mimicked because she was drunk. “If you’re still sure you’re single once you’re.... less drunk and rode out the hangover... Give me a call.” She said sliding a card into Dylan’s flannel shirt front pocket. “And we’ll see about those mind blowing orgasms.” She added winking at Dylan and then looking behind her. “Take care of her.” She said and then walked away and Dylan waved at her before slowly, the world was spinning too fast, turning and smiling as she saw Sloan was the one behind her.
“Hey! What are you doing here?” She slurred. “I didn’t think I’d see you here.” She always thought clubs were more Sloan’s style and she had wanted to drink relatively safety so she had come to a gay bar. “You want a drink? You look like you could use a drink, I’ll get you a drink, I’m cut off but I have a neat trick.” She said trying to wink playfully but ended up just blinking weirdly, before she fished in her wallet for and slapping a 100 dollar bill on the bar counter and looking expectantly at the bartender who sighed deeply, poured two shots and slid some limes towards them and taking the bill.
“These are the last ones, next I’ll just get the bill, I don’t want you dying in my bar.” The bartender said before sliding Dylan’s keys towards Sloan and turning away.
“You want to do body shots?” She asked with a smirk.
