a fun thing you can do in a fandom is get attached to a popular ship and then get extremely specific and niche with your interpretations of them until you have a love-hate relationship with seeing fanworks because on one hand more of your favorite guys and on the other hand you vehemently disagree with almost every single one on at least one point. but you will never voice it because haterism is best directed into making your own works. but it is fun. because you have more things to look at and go "well i agree with you on this and vehemently disagree on this" but sometimes the haterism overpowers me and i'm just pacing in real life while ranting and raving under my breath. but calmly. and i just vaguepost about it. it's fine. genuinely it's a fun way to hone your own interpretations though
