I'm actually curious to see what they'll do with the dog. Because tbqh, I don't want a companion to just be forced on me. I'd like to wait awhile before hand.
Yeah like I’m curious about it too. Maybe you can make him wait where you find him until you come back/get a house for him to return to? I’m happy having a companion right off the start but I also might want to be lonely in the wasteland for a while so I can better appreciate the companionship.
I posted this before but I really want there to be finally a choice to be a ghoul. Honestly ever sense I played Fallout 3 I've wanted that to be something I could do but only mods allowed you too. Though, some quests broke the mood when you get called smoothskin.
I know I said this isn’t a #1 thing for me but as I go on I do like the idea more and more simply because in order to be a ghoul at the start(and have it make sense generally), you’d have to have a character with a more open backstory like in NV. As opposed to 3 where you’re a vaultie and you play through your whole childhood in the vault and you see your dad and just blahhhh boring ass canon limiting your story options.
So yeah basically I would LOVE the options of being a ghoul or an android in addition to being human b/c it would mean they’d have to give me more freedom to create my own character’s history. Plus then I’d play through the game as each race at least once.
