Enjoy rich and creamy fudge that's easy to make in a slow cooker. This recipe combines the ease of slow cooking with the richness of making your own fudge. You can add your favorite nuts or leave them out for a version without nuts.
Ingredients: 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips. 1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk. 1/4 cup unsalted butter. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional.
Instructions: Place the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 1.5 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate and butter are completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract and chopped nuts if using. Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the fudge is set. Once set, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the fudge out of the dish. Cut the fudge into squares or rectangles. Serve and enjoy!
