Use this crispy rice crust to make pizza that isn't gluten-free. It's simple to make, and you can add your favorite toppings to make it your own.
Ingredients: 1 cup cooked rice white or brown. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese shredded. 1/4 cup tomato sauce. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Your favorite pizza toppings e.g., pepperoni, bell peppers, olives. Fresh basil leaves for garnish optional.
Instructions: Turn on your oven and heat it up to 425F 220C. Put the cooked rice, grated Parmesan cheese, and shredded mozzarella cheese in a bowl. Make sure to mix it well until it turns into dough. Put parchment paper around the edges of a pizza pan or baking sheet. Put the rice mixture on the parchment paper and make a thin crust by spreading it out with your hands. The rice crust should be baked in an oven that has been heated up for 12 to 15 minutes, or until it turns golden and the edges start to get a little crispy. Take the crust out of the oven and let it cool down for a little while. Put the tomato sauce on top of the rice crust and spread it out evenly. Leave a little space around the edges for the crust. Salt, black pepper, and dried oregano should all be mixed into the tomato sauce. On top of the sauce and spices, put your favorite pizza toppings. After taking the pizza out of the oven, bake it for another 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the toppings are done the way you like them. Take the gluten-free pizza with a rice crust out of the oven and let it cool a bit. If you want, you can add fresh basil leaves on top. Cut up your homemade gluten-free pizza and serve it!
