If it makes you feel better, I'm only on the third episode and it takes me two hours to get through an episode (reaaally bad secondhand embarrassment so far) so that could be the reason? I have been liveblogging it though, if you'd like to read up on my adventures.
But yeah! Slowly but surely slogging through the first season! The gifsets from the new season make me want to know what happens so badly... Derek gets youngified?
I'm afraid to get attached to certain characters though - like, out of the 4 that went on the double date, 2 of them aren't around in season 4.
But tell me: does it get better? Like, this is so awkward to watch now. Mostly Scott... he's like a little puppy that doesn't know what to do with himself most of the time.

I'm thinking about watching it for Felicity, as you suggested. I watched the first episode when it first aired but wasn't really grabbed by it, does it get better from there? It felt like mostly set up but I was so not-hooked that I didn't bother watching the rest of the season.
No one is better than the SHIELD team. No one. Hopefully Arrow has a less traumatic first season, though. (Please let it have a less traumatic first season - I don't think I'm ever going to recover from AoS's last few episodes.)

Yeeahh! However I think I'm going to put off watching Arrow until school is over (so the end of June) so I don't have anything else I'm supposed to be doing. I can't ignore all of my exams and final projects and such, and I would if I got hooked into another show. I have no self control when it comes to shows, I swear.
Let's hope there is character development to discuss. If it's as popular as it is I'm guessing there has to be some sort of development.... but you never know.
(I'm not asking you to wait for me. Just clarifying, because rereading what I wrote it almost sounds like I am.)

Apparently the team is really great? And - according to Tumblr - I should watch the show just for Felicity Smoak? I don't know, I only have room for one team in my heart and that's the AoS team.
(Also the fact that you follow me makes me freak out on a regular basis because you're fabulous and your AoS fics are golden. The mental image of Grant Ward hitting his head on the window because he's "too big for this tiny bus" is hilarious and will stay with me for a very long time.)

So I started watching Marvel's Agents of SHIELD (from here on out referenced as AoS because that is a hella long title to type out). For starters, blame sierrasanator and slughornsprotegee for my new obsession as they're the ones that suggested I watch it.
Working on catching up, just finished episode 17 (Turn, Turn, Turn).
WHY, Ward, why?! I am so confused. What is even going on anymore?! Although he and Coulson shared a look before he left so it might be a setup? But at the same time I just... killing them seemed a bit extreme unless there's another layer here that we don't know about yet.
On to the next episode, I suppose.
