I remember putting the "lightsabers melt bullets" thing in a fic once. I had the lightsaber wielder get splattered in the face with glowing hot metal. Unfortunately for the guy with the slugthrower, it was Darth Vader, who is well-protected against such assaults even without bothering to utilize telekinesis
