So, groovetastical tagged me to list 15 things that make me happy:
01. My horse, Patience. She's a pain in the ass half the time but when we accomplish something together I get so proud of both of us. I can go out there and talk to her about my problems and feel better. She's my girl.
02. My sibling, p1013. She's my twin sister and we've always been each other's best friend. We don't always agree with each other and we often drive each other crazy but in the end my sister has my back and is awesome.
03. My BFF Donya, virtualdon. I met Donya through online RP and we've been best buddies ever since. It sucks that she lives in Whales but you know we make it work. She's a tiny little ball of adorable than I adore and love to share sad headcanons with.
04. Making jewelry. I have tried a lot of art in my life. I used to draw, I used to sculpt and I used to paint but I was never good at time and never felt the urge to put the time and practice in to get better. Jewelry was the exact opposite. I've put a lot of time into trying new things and getting better and it's so satisfying when I finish something.
05. My RP buddies. I have way too many to list but when I need an escape from real life I can always turn to them for a distraction and for them to make me feel better about my writing and characterizations. They are the best.
06. Hanging out with the Not Another Teen Wolf Podcast girls. I have a blast whenever I get to hang out with them at cons or online. These girls are hilarious and goofy and smart and thoughtful and nice. I could go on a long time about how awesome they are to hang with.
07. Video games. I fucking love video games and playing them is one of my favorite things to do when TV sucks, I don't feel like writing or RPing and there's no one around to talk to. It's ridiculous how many times I've beaten some games and don't get me started on Mass Effect 3 multiplayer...
08. Actually, Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer can be on the list. I am not good at PVP. I actually kind of suck at it so I never really played a multiplayer before but ME3 is cooperative against AI and I'm actually good at that! The classes are fun and creative, there's a lot of variety to play and ugh, I want to play right now because I'm talking about it.
09. The Renaissance Fair. Now, I'm not a Medieval historian which is probably why I think the Renn Fair is awesome but I love hanging out there. The people are cool and the costumes are amazing. I love dressing up and corsets are awesome. I love the people. It's a totally awesome afternoon.
10. History! I love history. Reading a good history book makes me happy or watching a good history documentary on TV. History makes me so happy especially when I learn something new or get a chance to educate someone on something they didn't know before. It makes me happy. I don't get how some people just don't like history but whatever to each their own.
11. Strawberries. I will eat a whole thing of strawberries in one sitting if left to my own devices. It's apparently a family thing because my Grandpa did the same thing as a kid. I do really love fruit though. i always have, way more than chocolate.
12. Music. I'm one of those people who can listen to the same song or same album six hundred times before I get bored of it. When my favorite song comes on, I feel better about everything. I can write stories in my head based on music and fall asleep to music. Ah, music.
13. Stand Up Comedy. In high school I was part of the improv comedy group and loved it. I've never done stand up myself but I love a good stand up comedian and a good stand up routine. Funny people are the best people.
14. Dogs. I'm a dog person even though I currently own two cats. I have always been a dog person and hanging out with dogs can lift my mood instantly. One of these days, I'm going to have at least two dogs and maybe a boyfriend but the boyfriend is optional, the dogs are not.
15. Writing. I struggle with writing a lot of the time but when I get the flow going it's a great feeling. When I finish something it's a great feeling. I love world building and developing characters and settings and histories and I will sometimes spend more time on creating the world than actually writing a story.
