One of the many reasons that ship grosses me out.

i get that people like the shared trauma bond and the action couple thing and the respect for each other’s abilities, but by his own admission his feelings for her come from a place of low self worth/negative perception of himself as a killer only she can love and I don’t like romanticizing stuff like that.

Thanks for the advice. It’s funny because I can almost tell that this one is going to be disastrous but then I’m like, “nah, I’m probably being too harsh on the guy,” except that watch--I’ll go on the date and it’ll be disastrous and then I’ll be swearing to myself, “I fucking new it. Why did I waste all that time?”
