Slylock Fox
Slylock Fox is a character from newspaper comics that's been around for decades, but I've never seen any fanart of him. I thought I'd give it a go myself and aim for a kind of detailed interpretation of how he might look. I also added his sidekick in the corner there!

i know this is probably incredibly niche and like five people will know what I'm talking about but the things that slylock fox assumes kids will know is Astounding
example: this is today's issue
[ID: the newspaper cartoon, Slylocks Fox. The comic itself, using anthropomorphic animals, shows a rex fox in a blue suit looking confusedly at a gas station scene. an angry rabbit woman points at what is said to be a shrew on a motorbike next to a pump station. the shrew seems baffled. the pump reads: "price: 2.67 / sale $: 40.05 / gallons: 15". end image id]
The text on the side: "Rachel Rabbit claims Shady Shrew drove his chopper* through her garden minutes ago, but Shady insists he was busy at the gas pump filling his tank. As Shady was about to drive away, Slylock Fox observed evidence that suggests the shrew lied. What was Slylock see?"
The answer- upside down under the main text- says that the pump was for 15 gallons, and that a motorcycle only holds 3-6. But my question is how many little kids reading the comics actually KNOW that?? And this was a fairly obvious week, too! I still don't know the average amout of gas that goes into an actual car, why would a 5-10 yo kid know that fifteen gallons is too much for a motorcycle if they're genuinely trying to figure it out?
Remind me to keep ranting next week. Most Slylocks comics are downright ridiculous.
*chopper?? do people call motorcycles "choppers"? does he have a helicopter that he drove through a garden?
