okay but what about soft ginny and blaise?
like, imagine blaise juggling between his neutral status in the war and his death eater friends, how hard that must be. ginny may not be able to feel how he is but she can still hold him when his emotions start to bubble over, and he can only do that with her. she is the one person that sees his slytherin poker face crack and she doesn’t judge. she embraces his emotions and shows him it’s okay to feel overwhelmed as long as he had an outlet.
imagine each time ron complains/argues/insults her choice of significant other because he is “nothing but a filthy slytherin.” each time causing more and more hurt because why can’t her brother understand that she loves blaise and blaise loves her. blaise takes the mature route and doesn’t fight back against her brother instead, choosing to comfort his girlfriend. he isn’t good with emotions so he draws her pictures, small doodles that bring a smile to her face when she finds them placed at her usual spot at the gryffindor table.
see these two are heat and passion, but they are also human beings with complex emotions and they find solace in the other. they are completely bare before each other and they know that, no matter what they’ll get through everything together.
