i think of fiona apple. one of my favorite artists to this day. i’ve just always loved her. her music is incredible and i feel like her passion and sorrow kind of mirrors how i feel from time to time. like i was in a really rough place when i picked up playing the piano, shadowboxer was the very first song how i learned to play actually. now when i get off at 11:35 from work, i just drive around my neighbourhood and literally just sing her songs so loudly. tidal will always be one of my favorite albums. even though shadowboxer wasn’t on it, i really like sullen girl, criminal, sleep to dream, and pale september. i’m really drawn to somber things.

i also think of the color red and how i was so obsessed with the color red when growing up. like i had these really beat up red converse high tops that i wore almost every day.

and well i lost a tooth on the swingset at my elementary school while eating a golden delicious apple. i creeped out all my friends with it. i thought it looked cool, but i’m sick like that.
