Nope, nope, changed my mind. The more gold I can make his armor, the better.

I have no self control. Late night sketch turns into find time to finish and add sketch a thon for my favorite couple.
My dragon Emperor and his Empress.
I doodled for 3 hours last week after teaching and before our karaoke social.
Slyxis and Avyna, being their usual lovesick selves.
And Slyxis and Salin, mostly taking place before Avyna was in the picture.
Slyxis is very much bisexual, he's out, and he's not shy about it. He's exceptionally comfortable in his own skin.
I am aware this may be suuuuper squished. But I’ve been doing a lot of thinking again and I sat myself down to write out the entire family tree for my Artarik Royals. I’ve even done some broad strokes on MOST of the Emperor’s reigns (and may or may not have discovered that there’s a whole other story to write with a couple of them)
I have names for the Emperors, and the Vanais direct line. In this case, both lead to Rhaikshyr, who is the firstborn, re-unification of the ‘godsblood’ or ‘dragonblood’ as they are called.
Slyxis and Avyna have by far the largest family in the royal line. And all of their children have families of their own, I simply marked down the oldest boys of Eaeyir’s descent in this one since that is the direct royal ascension.
Right. I needed to update these drawings. The vast majority of my dragons have always been dark-skinned individuals (ice dragons are the exception). I've been picky over the years of smudging my drawings and kept it solely as line-art. But I'm tired of characters not looking closer to the way they're meant to.
This couple has been through so much shit; I just want them to end up happy.
Spoiler: it's bittersweet.
