This is just me fooling around with my new microphone. Got a Shure SM-57, your standard workhorse mic. This is me playing on a Ibanez GIO RGA32T, Raven RG60 1X12 Amp, and with a Boss Metal Zone MT-2 stomp box. It's not the best, but I hope you like it.
Truthfully..
I feel bad for mic companies that have to compete with Shure, because it's just not fair how good SM-57s are. I would have no qualms about using them even on a big-time, mainstream record, they are that good, and that versatile, and CHEAP.
Also, I recently purchased an also relatively cheap set of Shure cans (SRH440s) and I literally feel like I have a set of Genelecs strapped to my head, they are that good. I am quickly becoming a major fan of Shure products.
