i love the difference between jessie and james when it comes to saving their friends... jessie just tells mimikkyu (violent) to do something (violent) and of course it ends up beating meowths ass completely and causing him to faint, while james has to come to a full stop and contemplate hitting their partner with an attack, realizes theres no other choice, and tells mareanie to do it gently

Acerola
She’s one of my favourite characters from the games, and I’m thoroughly happy with how she was handled in Pokeani. Fun, caring, mysterious, not scared of a single ghost. I’m really happy to have seen more of her after her Ula’ula Arc debut, and be an excellent match-up for Kaki in the League. Already miss her and her shenanigans with Kuchinashi/Nanu.
Bonus:
Sakaki: Island King Kuchinashi is an old acquaintance.
Kuchinashi: Sakaki? Then you guys are Team Rocket, huh.
