there was a blinding flash, and then the world exploded into noise. clark gasped, eyes snapping open to a city of towering steel — not smallville. sirens screamed, horns blared, and people rushed past in a panicked blur. a bus, engulfed in flames. he didn't have time to calculate the logistics of how he got there. his super-hearing was immediately drawn to a woman's scream. ' help! someone, please! ' he ran, reaching for the twisted metal and pulling the woman out.

that was when he caught a glimpse of a streak of red and blue shooting past. the caped man moved so quickly, yet clark's eyes were able to keep up with him. and it wasn't until he recognized his own features on that man that disbelief hit him ... — what the hell? / @sm4llville
