If you are in a rental, keep the old hardware so that when you move, you can put it back. A fresh paint will also up do the look or if you are a artsy person get those remnants of peel off wall paper from the big box store and put it to your kitchen door to give some extra personality to the plain white doors.     7.2.11

I have a small dining area,what shape to use for my Dining table and chairs?

A round or oval table takes up less room than a square or rectangular one. If this is still too big, a breakfast bar affixed to the wall or a gate-leg table can be placed against a wall or there are even tables that fold down from the wall. In a small area, you can also use a leggy island on castors, one that has drawers to supplement the cabinets. An Antique table can look very stunning with modern chairs while mismatched old chairs painted with white or black high gloss can be pulled together round a plain modern table, just make sure the chairs are comfortable whether this are made of leather, plastic or metal, or wood upholstered chairs.     9.2.11

New covers in a fashionable fabrics will update the look of a tired sofas and armchairs, and to add some ommp throw in new cushions and soft,fluffy throws.

If you have a random collection of dining chairs, why not turn it into a single colour by giving them a fresh coat of paint thereby giving you a smart set.     19.2.11
