If you want to move more or get healthier but don't want to go to the gym or do a mike walk every day, there's little things you can add into your down time that take very little effort. Now these things obviously won't make you lose 10lbs in a week or anything, but it is good to move your body and muscles a bit when you're sitting/standing with nothing to do.
You can do calf or toe raises while waiting in lines
You can also open and close a fist repeatedly while sitting or standing around to work your fingers and wrist
Shoulder shrugs and rolls
Got a long commute or stuck in traffic? Do some stomach vacuums
You can do a slow march while brushing your teeth or hair
See how long you can hold your book with an outstretched arm
Doing small things like this can help if you've fallen into a slump or you just want to move around a little extra during your day. These are a few of the ones I do on a regular basis when I start to get antsy and need to move around, but I am stuck in one spot.
Also understand that not every second of your day needs to be productive. You need rest and need to allow yourself rest. You don't need to workout and move constantly. Being a size 2 won't make your self worth increase. You should be moving your body because you want to and enjoy it and gives you benefits.
