Jessica had been taking smaller cases to ensure that she had money still coming in while trying to deal with the Kilgrave situation. And while she usually didn’t have any trouble this last mark was getting on her last fucking nerve. It had dragged on a week to long and she’d finally just decided to confront him only to find out that he wasn’t alone after all. “You have got to be kidding me.” She cursed as she stood up and it turned out that there were about ten guys there. Could nothing ever go right? Rolling her eyes she sighed. May as well get this ass kicking over with. She’d just slammed the palm of her hand up against a guy’s nose when she became aware that some of them had knives. “Now that’s just cheating.”
