following spree!
please, active studybls, like/reblog this post! my dash is kinda dead.
🌟🌼 I love going to my university’s library. It’s quiet, smells nice, and there are all kinds of small corners where I can be alone and have a few moments to myself 🌼🌟
☆ How to Deal W/ Shitty Notes ☆
(my first studyblr guide type of thing? shook! this is aimed at college students, because ik most high school teachers aren’t like this?)
- Imagine sliding into class one day. Life is good, you have your notebook/binder set up and you’re ready to take notes when the teacher only allows you to see the slides for only ten secs each. Oh, and they have an insane amount of information. Oh, and a no cell phone policy! What can you do?
☆ Whenever they are talking, jot down the gist of what they are saying. My professor usually started by saying the info and then sliding into the next slide (get it?)
☆ Write down the bold terms. In my experience, though you might have to specifically ask about this, dates aren’t as important unless you’re in history class
☆ (my fav so far) Type in the name of your textbook. It doesn’t matter if you’re renting/ purchased an old book- there are thousands of pdf files available. If you are blessed, you’ll find the actual slides the teacher uses for notes
☆ Read the textbook. ik, ik, but read it. My note-taking system consists of post-it notes. I write down terms, people, and a brief (four words usually) exp. on what they did. The glossary and index pages help a lot!
☆ Partner up with your buddies. You’ll take half the slide’s notes and they’ll take the rest. Share the notes at the end.
☆ Rewrite your notes !
NOW, IF YOU’RE A BIT OF A RISK TAKER:
☆ Use the voice memos app on your phone. Slide it on your nap OR slide it inside your bag but leave it slightly open. It works! Just don’t move or shift it constantly cuz then you’ll get rly bad audio
☆ Slide ur phone and take pics. Yeah, just that.
I hope this helps, loves! Add anything if you feel like it! Happy Studying!

I promise I'll always be that studyblr that supports the new small studyblrs because we've all been there and I just want everyone to feel welcome in this community the way I have for the last month or so. Support the small studyblrs! Support the new studyblrs! Support the studyblrs that have nothing to do with what you are studying and learning because you can still make good friends but also some of your followers may be studying those things and you can spread good content for them!!!
tiny stationary haul to get over the last of revision !! cant believe how fast this year has gone
Newish Studyblr!!
Hello, I’m Hassan! I’ve actually had a studyblr before, but I moved from a v small sideblog to an independent account and am trying to get this new one up and running, so what better way to start than to re-introduce myself, since its a big community and this blog will probably be found by completely different ppl!
I’m 16 and in grade 10 in high school
I live in Arizona, USA. I moved this semester from Colorado.
My favorite subject is Mathematics and I hope to be a Math major when I go to university.
I’m a choir loser. I sing Soprano 1 and I’ve even been in Aspen Music Festival’s high school honor choir when I lived in Colorado!
I’m half Mexican and half Hungarian, but I’m not remotely white-passing and consider I myself mixed or Mexican-American
I’m Muslim
I speak English and Spanish, and both are kinda my first/native languages.
I’m learning Korean as a second language
I want to learn a lot of languages, but if I shared all of them, this post would be impossible to read bc it would be so long!
I want to go to university at Stanford or UC Berkeley, though I will need a Lot of scholarships/financial aid to go to university at all.
So that’s me in a nutshell! I made a studyblr to learn how to actually study (I’m that straight-A student that never has to study, but that can change, so I want to be ready when I do need those skills), and to make friends!! I lack people skills, but I don’t bite (on purpose) and I like making friends, so hmu!!
