How do you teach about voting rights in your classroom? 1965 was a year of change and action in the American civil rights movement. On March 21 of that year, Martin Luther King, Jr., and the Rev. Ralph Abernathy began marching with over 3,000 from Selma to Montogomery, Alabama, in a peaceful support of voting rights.
