In less than two weeks, I return to my alma mater, likely for the last time. The rise of diploma mills and other forces have conspired to kill an institution which educated and inspired for over 100 years. It will be good to see old friends and, perhaps, we'll be able to save the old girl in the 11th hour. But, I am not hopeful. If you are a graduate of a small college, engage your alumni office and board of trustees NOW!
