Can I have some info on the tiniest monkey / primate? I just love seeing how small nature can make creatures
The worlds smallest primate is the Madame Berthe's mouse lemur! These lemurs are so tiny that they only weigh around 1.1 grams, making them about the same weight as a spoonful of peanut butter.
These nocturnal critters are solitary hunters that mostly eat bugs and small lizards. Despite their solitary activity, they sleep huddled up together. They have the shortest lifespan among primates (6-8 years in the wild) but the largest testicle to body ratio, so ball 'till you fall I guess. You can learn more about them here.
