Peter Maximoff Interacting With Charles Xavier - part. 1

When they first met:

• Peter wonders how a drug f***ed had gotten past his mum and into his room.

• Charles wonders if he had somehow been pranked by Logan. How could a thieving toddler help?

• Charles although looking disgruntled and annoyed by Peter, he is practically shaking with excitement. Never in his life had he seen something like this!

• Peter still wonders why his mum hadn't called the cops on the "cops."

Roadtrip to the Pentagon:

• Peter has to bring homework along, he can't afford to suffer another after school attention.

• Logan bullies him whilst driving, Hank is too busy tinkering away with something in the passenger seat, and Charles just stares at him unblinkingly.

• Peter gets unnerved and can't concentrate, hand jingling the locked door handle anxiously.

- "What're you looking at?"

- "Have we met before?"

• Charles looks over his sunglasses and squints.

- "uhhHHhhH... no?"

• Charles can't bring himself that Peter looks similar to a very old friend.

• Charles suddenly realises what the papers on Peters lap is, and his teacher fight or flight instinct activates.

• Peter complains about his biology homework to him, and how it just doesn't make sense. He beats himself down by saying how his little sister could easily do it.

• Charles slides across the back seat (his seatbelt is unbuckled, do not be like Charles - safety first) and easily figures out what Peter is struggling with.

• The two bond over the homework and seem to fit together well, chatting more about how teaching techniques than the actual homework.

• By the end of the trip Peter is officially caught up with homework, and actually feels prepared for his next biology class

• By the time they get to the Pentagon, they have little inside jokes and laugh like the nerds that they are.

Pentagon breakout:

• Charles feels oddly defensive about letting Peter go alone to get Erik, but he gets a hold of himself quickly.

• Peter can feel the tension between Erik and Charles.

• He's not a child either, he knows what kind of tension this is. It's gróss.

• Peter and Charles don't really interact after the breakout. Charles seems too busy being angry at the metal guy to pay attention to the fact he just rAN UP A WALL(!!!).

Once Peter is home:

• Peter's deviatated at what he sees on the news, he panics about how this could all link back to him and doesn't sleep for two nights.

• Peter calls the school that had been on the business card he had stolen from Charles.

• He calls for some sort of closure, he can't really explain but he wants to talk to Charles about everything that's happened the past few days, not his mum.

• No one picks up.

Things Peter Maximoff Probably Shocks His Team Mates With

• That he has a teaching degree (it's been ten years since he finished school and his mum made him pick one before she did for him) • That he can play music not just listen to it • That he has a sister, and that she is ten years younger than him • That he is great with kids in general • When Peter's style keeps changing and getting a little more stylish as well with his hair, they find out Jubilee has been styling him • That he gets along with Charles especially when talking about math or science • They don't realise just how fast Peter is until it looks like he teleported • Getting the children who have closed themselves off to talk and smile • How he doesn't have any non-band t-shirts • How much he can eat • How Erik is his father • Just how many goggles he has • How quick he is, but takes a couple years when going to the shops • That he can cook, and cook well • How dedicated he gets on Mother's Day • How competitive he gets and how bad he is at hiding it • How strong he is, once when Charles wheel chair got stuck in a wedge he just picked up the entire thing without trying. Or the other time where he easily picked up two kids who had been fighting with their mutations • What wasn't surprising to them, was that he wasn't fire resistant

Peter Maximoff Is Probably #9

The best substitute teacher ever! The kids just love it when their teacher is sick or unable to make it to class, because if they are there is a 9/10 chance that Mr. Maximoff will be their substitute. He teaches them as much as he knows in the area of study or the paperwork he is given, but he makes it fun. Chats with the students, does memory games, takes breaks every 15 minutes of good work for them to stand up and stretch and have a chat for a couple minutes. 

Peter is the best sub teacher and Charles is lowkey jealous, it powers Peter on to be an even better teacher, sub or not.

Why Peter Maximoff Can No Longer Attend School Field Trips #1

• Peter's first time attending a field trip as a supervisor was to the museum • He was happy to go, but not so happy to spend the day with 50 or so pip-squeaks • He made a mixtape just for the occasion, lots of the students weren't happy with the choices of rock music going to nursery rhymes • When they got in there, Peter's job was to make sure no one strayed from the group • At one point a child wandered off from the group to look at a different dinosaur skeleton and instead of telling them off Peter joined them • More children joined and eventually the group had split into two without anyone really acknowledging what was going on • Peter and Co ended up on a entirely different floor and the young children started making chaos • People's belongings started going missing into little mutant hands • Things were being vandalised • Other non-mutant children were going into Peter's group because Peter knew so much about everything it seemed • Once Peter noticed people calling for their children and belongings he quickly put them back • Co were very upset with having their new things taken from them, and they all rebel • Everyone runs away in different directions, and even with a fast train of thought Peter doesn't know what to do • Which way should he go? Which kid is more likely to burn down the place if left unsupervised? Does he have enough time to right his last Will and Testament? • One by one he manages to sneak kids back into the larger group that Hank is leading • Many other kids notice, but with Hank geeking off in the corner he's the only one that doesn't realise • Peter gets everyone back onto the bus just before they go, but it isn't successful once he realises he left someone inside • It turns out he forgot the one kid who could actually blow the place to bits • As the bus pulls away a small explosion blows out the windows on the highest floor • Peter barely manages to get the kid before the security guards and police get him • He catches up with the bus and gets the kid inside, and is informed by Hank that he has to take a kid back to the museum because the got all the kids with mutations even if they didn't attend the school • And because of the headache Hank got at the end of the day, it was announced that Peter could no longer come on field trips

Peter Maximoff Probably #8

Has a lot of goggles and I mean A LOT of goggles. He has different ones for different occasions; Christmas, Halloween, party's, weather, ect. He has a small pink pair for his sister, a pair for his mom which he etched "Mom Maximoff" onto. He had a pair made for Scott after that time they accidentally slid off mid-run. Peter has so many he filled a whole chest full, just ones he brought specially or found at a store. Peter Maximoff is a goggles hoarder.

Peter Dealing with Magneto as his Father

• He doesn’t talk about it for awhile • After doing what he did and then his mother explain just who that man was, he felt like he couldn’t feel • He felt bad, horrible for what he did. He felt sick to the stomach for what he released into the world • But he also felt, something indescribable, because it was his dad! The man he had dreamed to teach him ride a bike or throw a ball with him, instead he rode off with all of Peter’s childhood dreams and threw a baseball stadium on the President of the United States Of American. • His mom didn’t want to push him to talk about his feelings, but she was concerned • Peter would distance himself from his school friends and his grades dropped, for once he felt tired • Peter would leave in the middle of the night too, not going anywhere important or meaningful, just somewhere quite • His little sister notices a difference too • Less playful with her, bags under his eyes, kinda moody too, snapping at her for being too loud or going into his room without permission • It makes Peter feel worse, distancing himself from his little sister, but he has trouble stinging together words his honesty apologise • His mom stages an intervention and lets Peter have the day off school • While it’s just the two of them she sits him down for the talk they should have had a while ago • She explains that when she met Erik (“Yes it’s Erik, Peter) he had been a nicer man, ready to settle down but he changed. She refused to tell him what happened but explains that she had left before either knew that he was conceived • She makes sure that Peter understands that what Peter did wasn’t his fault, because both Peter and Erik were in the dark about their relations and intentions • Peter feels better and slowly gets back to his older self, talking to his mom when he feels the need to • He full heartedly apologies to his little sister and they have a overdue brother-sister bonding weekend that consists of baking, tea-party’s and dress up • Peter always feels unsure of Erik, and how and when he would tell the truth to his dad, but he learns to adapt to it and comes to his own terms

Peter The Mother Hen

OK deal with me here, so I’ve read a lot about the other girls in the X-Men team being a motherly figure and helping out when needed. Example, I read just the other day a headcanon with all the team mates calling Jean mom, it was really nice but it got me thinking… Peter is the eldest and since being a teenager has had a child (his sister) running laps around him. So here is my headcanon of Peter being a mother hen to the team! • Makes sure everyone attends every meal, he believes that everyone should have three (or four) square meals a day. So if someone is feeling too unwell to come eat, he will take food up to their room, and if they don’t eat it but get hungry sometime later, he will cook for them • Sometimes the younger pickier kids act unwell and not attend a meal so Peter will cook something more to their liking • Peter is a mother at ready, so if your eyes even start to well up, you’re f***ed. He will be their in 0.2 seconds to scoop you up and ask what’s wrong. He’s also very strong, he managed to pick up Hank once when he was frustrated with work • When everyone is training Peter will cheer them all on, once even appearing with pom-poms when Jean had to go one on one with Raven • When students have trouble sleeping, Peter will appear with their favourite genre of music to mellow them into sleep. And if that doesn’t work he will keep them company until they fall asleep from exhaustion • Peter actually does the Sex Ed classes, because Peter had barely been taught when he was in high school with a shitty video • Peter is a hawk, he will watch anyone and everyone, he notices certain couples getting a lil bit too close. Charles rule is that opposite genders can’t share the same room, but Peter disagrees, he makes it pretty clear when he is tossing condoms around and giving the “Consent Chat” • Peter helps kids with daddy or mommy issues, he tells them about growing up with his mom and also wondering what would happen if his dad had stuck around • Peter helps the younger kids settle in by telling them bed time stories, helping them sneak into the kitchen for midnight snacks (“gotta start them young”) and ridiculously tucking them in. Like he will make them look like a worm, he will tuck the blanket right under them so it’s wedged in and the kids are giggling • When the kids go through growth spurts, Peter will takes them clothes shopping and (with Charles money) buy the kids clothes for whatever faze they’re going through. They have a couple emo’s and goth’s at the school now • Whenever anybody (even scary Raven) gets hurt Peter is ready. If it’s just a scrape from falling over, a cut, burn or ability caused injury Peter will appear from no where with a first-aid kit. But if someone is really hurt he will run (at normal speed to not make it worse) them to the infirmary, then get someone who is qualified to help • Peter is a mom at ready and is here for you to vent or gossip
