One last Brand New Day take: I love how the movie emphasized the importance of Charles Xavier. Erik said it best-he did more for mutant kind than anyone. People forget before he was known to be a douchebag, Charles gave these people a home and a community. Without Charles, the X-Men would’ve been supervillains or living weapons. Now they’re heroes loved by mutants and non mutants alike.

I think the writers of the comics forgot about that. Heck, I think they forgot about the point of the X-Men in general.

X men 97 drives me insane, the first season starts with Charles dying and leaving everything to his ex husband without telling anyone and in the second season they are absolutely wrecking the timeline with their gay shit

And its Magneto fucking up the whole timeline because he wanted to make Charles' dream true. They are the gayest that have ever done it.

During my rewatch of X-Men First Class… I realized something. And this linked me back to Spider-Man BND too.

In some of the scenes, Charles was seeing things from whomever he focused on’s perspective. And obviously this rings a bell in my Marvel pilled brain.

He had such a long range of control with or without Cerebro and it showeddd

And it really put into perspective for me of how in-the-learning stage Jean is in BND.
