Vetenerians,,, a question
So I just got a guinea pig right and idk how old he is. I got him from a friends roomate who got him, obsessed over him for a week, and then completely neglected him for like 4 months. She doesn’t know how old he is and the vet doesn’t either she’s thinking like a year. He has ringworm, and we believe also mites. He’s really warmed up to me which I love love love. He licks me where as he used to bite if I made any sudden movements too close and he purrs when I pet him (keeping it to a minimum Bc of what he has vet says could give him seizures if I pet him and he gets over excited)
and I’ve read about the term popcorning and I think that’s what it is but I’m not entirely sure. So usually Vino ( my piggie ) is in his cage when I’m gone but if I’m home and we’re chilling I’ll open the cage (he climbs out) and add an attachment that cage came in that adds to the cage and lets him roam a little and he starts jumping and running all over the place I even had to pull the cage up a little because we would shimmy behind the cage so now he runs is that a good thing? Also I just noticed he nibbles on the bars which I’m guessing is Bc he wants to roam even freer but I don’t want him getting lost.
Are there any toys that are good for piggies that I can get or even make in my free time?

I’ve gone to my vet a total of two times, called her 4 and always have at least like 3 questions. Once because it was his first vet appointment since I got him and apparently his ONLY one. The second Bc I thought he had gut stasis turns out I’m not shit and gave him a too much sugar and he had an upset stomach and diarrhea I think because of these watermelon drops I got at PetSmart prob too much sugar but they’re in the trash now. He’s much better now though. He goes in every two weeks for his more medication he’s already had one and has two more left, next app is 4 days from now, and his ringworm medicine hopefully gets here mid week next week. I called 4 two of them were the day I had gut stasis Bc I thought Baby was dying so I got worried and the other two were yesterday Bc I needed new medicine Bc the oh one would take two weeks to get to me. I feel like I annoy her.
Can anyone who’s a vet and/or has/had guinea pig(s) help me out pls?
