These letterpress prints combine vintage international postage stamps collected by my father with subtly patterned handmade Japanese paper and handset antique metal type. The diminutive 2.25 x 3.5 inch size has a big message in response to continuing racism and confounding hatred. A portion of each sale supports Tacoma's @apcc96 Asia Pacific Cultural Center, which serves as an interactive cultural crossroads between local and international communities. Most of these prints are one-of-a-kind, and I'll continue to post other varieties as part of Printmakers Against Racism through April 11. #printmakersagainstracism #philately #letterpress #smallsides #stopaapihate (at Tacoma, Washington) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNNZVb6BFYF/?igshid=sbslcycp61qk
