Yall I really wish I had amazing like out of this world writing skills cause there’s like zero long Smallville Clark Kent x reader fanfics to read. And if there is I already read them. And there was one I really like but it ended, and the author is on a break 😩. I just wish I had like amazing writing skills so I can do it my self. Cuz I don’t wanna bother the author cuz that’s rude.

Hi! I'm new to Smallville fandom (and new to the show! starting S4!). I love Clark and Chloe with all my heart and I've read your amazing fics (more like went through a period where my family and friends couldn't reach me because of that damn Almost series haha). I'm wondering if you have recs? Clark/Chloe or Lex/Chloe or variations thereof! Please and thank you! :D

Thanks so much! I know, that Almost series is a giant monsterfic, isn’t it? I think it’s satisfying in the end, but I always blush thinking of the sheer length and the fact that it took me six darned years to finish it. 

I’ve currently got two Chlark fics ongoing. I am honestly not sure if I’m going to write more after those are done. I’d like to scale back on fic and concentrate on original works soon. 

But there is fic to be had out there, old and new…

First, I recommend visiting Ellyfanfiction’s blogspot. Not all the stories are still up, but she has a lot of great Chlark. She was pretty much the original queen of Chlarkfic back in the day (though she’s moved to other shows and ships now). Before I started writing Chlark, she was one of the first people I read. I feel like she’s pretty much required reading for Chlark. LOL.

Another one who’s pretty prolific and amazing is Babydee (master list here). Hers are mostly fun or smutty, with some good plotty or angsty ones as well. Also, she’s one of the sweetest people in the SV fandom. She’s still got ongoing Chlark fics.

There’s also Laurelnola who’s written lots of Chlark (master list here) it might be friends locked. If you have an LJ, I’m sure she’d add you. She loves getting comments on her fics. I’m even in the middle of one of her older series now that blends Chlark and Chlollie and surprises me by making it work for both ships! I don’t think she’s got plans to write more at this moment, but she’s got a fairly big archive.

Other than that, I recommend joining Ksitetv forums (just never go outside the fic forums. It’s more pleasant that way) as there’s lots of Chlark in the regular section and the adult section (my personal home. I just can’t not have the love scenes). some of it ongoing. If you need a good laugh, look up ANYTHING there by Firebunny. :)

I guess that’s about all I have to rec. Hope that gives you plenty to read. 

ETA: If you’re looking for good Chlex, join Naughty Seduction’s Chlex forum. That where they keep all the good stuff! Zannie, Nonkie, Bluesabby… There’s just lots of good Chlex authors there.

While Supernatural is loyal to the Superwholock trio, he’s actually tightest with Smallville. They grew close over dealing with CW Network’s indifference towards their popularity. Smallville keeps Supernatural down-to-earth and Supernatural is always ready to stand up for him in return.
