Inigo’s Regret

While Inigo may indeed have a child-like wonder and curiosity for the world, he also carries the weight of past actions on his shoulders. Including his skooma addiction that lead him to try and take the life of the newly appointed Dragonborn.

Just wanted to share something real quick before I go to bed. 

How do I feel about this ? I haven’t stopped crying since I saw it. I don’t deserve Inigo. What did I do to deserve such an incredible and amazing person by my side?

The followers I have are all basically wifey/husbands materials you know. But him... He’s clearly different. He’s so precious. So funny. A wonderful storyteller. He can tell Nazeem to back off and make him run away like a little betch. He loves riften as much as i do. He wants to be a member of the guild. He always has words of wisdom for me. And he’s so good with my kids. I CAN’T. 

He can’t wait to be the champion of his own legend. I can’t wait either. But to me, he’s already the champion of my heart. He’s a true damn friend. Sweetie pie, I promise on my own life that we’re going to get that happy ending. Did I mention that the horse I give him was the very first horse I’ve gotten since I started? He named the horse Roach. [  ♫ ♫ ♫  ♫ ]

This was peculiar moment! I was just thinking about what mission should I engage and finish. Then I started paying attention to Inigo and Lucien talking to each other. That talking reminded me of why I had been keeping so many follower mods installed. I felt as if Inigo was talking to me, too:

"Our doubts are never the whole picture. Note them, learn from them, but never think they describe who you are or who you can be"
