Ingredients: 18-20 grams of freshly ground coffee beans. Filtered water.
Instructions: Make sure that the coffee grinder is set to a fine espresso grind. Warm up your espresso cup and coffee maker. Put 18 to 20 grams of coffee grounds into the portafilter. Spread the coffee out evenly and firmly, then tamp it down. Put the portafilter into the group head of the coffee maker. Aim for a 2530 second shot when you start the extraction process. Look at the crema on the espresso; it should be thick and golden. As soon as possible, pour into a hot espresso cup.
