SmartGeo: il potere della Terra
Lo sviluppo ecosostenibile delle infrastrutture di produzione di energia ha portato, negli ultimi 10 anni, ad una crescita esponenziale dell’utilizzo di fondi di energia pulita, con le stime degli esperti che vengono ritoccate al rialzo anno dopo anno.
In questo contesto, forse non tutti sanno che l’Italia è uno dei pochi paesi a poter contare, oltre che sull’energia Idroelettrica, Eolica e Solare, anche su quella Geotermica per coprire i fabbisogni pubblici e privati. Non solo, l’Italia fu pioniera assoluta nel campo dello sfruttamento dell’energia del sottosuolo, con le prime installazioni che risalgono al 1904 presso il comune di Larderello (Toscana).
Oggi, la geotermia assolve al 6% del fabbisogno di energia elettrica italiana ed è presente soprattutto nella regione Toscana, nei territori compresi tra le province di Pisa, Siena e Grosseto.
Nell’ottica di fornire una spinta importante alla crescita delle infrastrutture che permettono di sfruttare la grande potenzialità che l’energia del terreno ci offre, Sdi partecipa al Progetto SmartGeo, finanziato attraverso bando dalla Regione Toscana per l’accesso al Fondo Europeo di Sviluppo Regionale POR CreO.
Il progetto, sviluppato in partenariato con la Scuola Superiore degli Studi San’Anna Pisa, l’Università degli studi Firenze, Enel Green Power ed ISE, si pone l’ambizioso obiettivo l’ottimizzazione delle performance e l’aumento dell’efficienza ed affidabilità degli impianti produttivi attraverso lo sviluppo di un sistema avanzato di monitoraggio in tempo reale.
Per la realizzazione dell’impianto pilota è stato scelto il sito “Rancia 2″ di Enel Green Power, localizzato nel comune di Radicondoli (SI), per il quale il progetto prevede il raggiungimento dei seguenti obiettivi:
Prevenire eventi accidentali riguardanti il vapore (affogamento dei pozzi, perdite dai vapordotti, allarmi di blocco)
Ridurre le rotture causate da un utilizzo in condizioni non ottimali
Ottimizzare gli interventi di manutenzione, introducendo algoritmi predittivi
Identificare e correggere le inefficienze causati da assetti non ottimali di funzionamento
Il progetto si articola in 3 fasi, che prevedono dapprima la sperimentazione sull’impianto di Rancia 2, per poi estendere i risultati del progetto ai 7 impianti gemelli limitrofi e, in una terza fase, alla totalità delle 37 installazioni geotermiche di proprietà di Enel.
L’approfondito Know-How di processo sviluppato da Sdi sin dagli anni ‘80 con la fornitura del primo sistema di rilevamento in tempo reale dei microsismi applicati agli impianti Geotermici (sistema SAMES di Larderello) ci rende il partner ideale per la realizzazione del sistema di diagnostica predittiva, delle interfacce di gestione e dell’opera di integrazione con il pre-esistente sistema di Telecontrollo di impianto.
Sebbene ancora in fase di sviluppo il progetto sarà presentato al workshop South-Eastern Region Workshop 2018 a Zagreb, Croatia, il 19-20 di settembre 2018, nell’ambito della discussione “Digitalizzazione dell’operatività e della manutenzione di impianti di produzione geotermica”.

The comprehensive service usage tracking reporting and billing module enables application VASP, Operators to adopt different monetization models (subscription, transaction based etc) and track activities of consumer as transactions with various third party service providers giving complete picture of transactions happening through the system.
