hiii! i use several apps/websites.

for quick one-shot texts i use the website postfully. for group chats and series i use the app memi message.

for tweets i use the app twinote.

for instagram posts and stories i use the website 10015.io or the app photonote.

i’ve also used the app chattales, although, it’s not a main one i use. the one time i used it was for insta dms.

prankshit - i use for tiktok, insta dms, youtube and regular messages

tweetgen - everything to do with twitter, i do on there!

memi (app) - it crashes a lot, but you can do group chats there, so i'd recommend only for that

canva - to clump pics together e.g., tweets and reply chains

hihi!! this is super super random, and i’ll totally understand if you don’t wanna answer, but do you have any tops in how to start a smau fic? i’d been wanting to start for a while but have 0 clue what apps to use for it 🙁

omg hi! i literally feel so honoured to be asked this💞

apps i use:

memi message — you can create both group chats and 1 on 1 chats. it can be a little laggy and glitchy at times which is annoying but is the best app i’ve found so far for gc’s :)

twinote — fake twitter! fairly easy to navigate and you can have loads of different profiles. also i think it looks pretty similar to actual twitter.

photonote — i don’t use this often bc i prefer to just create my own ig posts on here, but i do like using this for making instagram profiles.

messages — just the default app that comes with an iphone! i can give a more in depth ‘tutorial’ on this if needed cause it’s hard to explain without the visuals but i just text my own number and delete the duplicate responses :)

in terms of general tips for smau’s, i’d just say take inspiration from other forms of media (films, books, etc.) and just find a way to make it into something that can be documented through things such as text threads! honestly half of the fun for me is finding ways to tell of a situation without just typing out a whole 2000 word block of action.

i use picsart to make the posts itself with the pictures, and then pinterest/instagram to find said images!

for the stories, i just find an image and go on the instagram app and make a story there, and save it to my cr!

TWITTER

i use tweetgen to make all of the tweets/replies

MESSAGES

i use memimessage for the imessages (i have no clue if it's available for android users or not) - the app is slightly glitchy but it does the job!

YOU CAN SAVE CONTACTS!!!!

And have a ton of contacts!!!

If you watch an ad you can have no ads for 12 hours (you can also pay but free options are better)

It looks so nice

Switching between profiles is really easy

As well as making and editing ones as well

Has a little bit of a learning curve but is pretty straight forward and easy to do

Memi messages (texts)

CAN SAVE MULTIPLE PROFILES!!!!

There is a limit to number that can be in group chats (9 i think??) But its not too bad. You can pay for the option to add more i think?

Easy to switch between profiles

I do get annoyed with the fact you cant do the time difference time stamp thing but that could just be me not knowing how to do it.

Can be a little annoying to use but looks so good

Cannot save profiles but its pretty simple to do it but it is a little time consuming

I would prefer an app but i havent found a single one thats even as close to as good as zeoob

If you want all the pictures to be the same size like instagram does, you'll have to crop them yourself

It does have options for a whole bunch of otber social medias, i think I've used the snapchat one before. Like a long time ago

Anyways its good quality, just a little time consuming and annoying to fill out.

I use Pinterest for most of my photos and canva for when i need to edit any photo
