I’ve been desperately trying to find something that will work this little girl’s brain and tire her out mentally. She keeps solving every treat puzzle we throw at her on the first try. Mona has an intense drive, is wicked smart, and is high energy. She’s like a border collie in a smol puppy body. I bought this snuffle mat for her to do some nosework and it was so great to see her work on it. You can make your own snuffle mat with felt cloth or buy one pre-made (ours is from Amazon). You basically hide their kibble or treats in the various pockets/cloth folds and your dog has to seek them out via smell. It’s a great activity to do indoors in case the weather is crappy outside. Mental exercise is just as important as physical exercise for herding breeds like corgis! #Drewbert #Smellbert #ItsMonaTime #ToDoNosework #corgi

What's your dream destination for a good vacation?

WELL, a thing about me is that I really don’t like to travel, at all. It stresses me out, I don’t like going places and doing things, I would rather stay home, I don’t even like to watch travel shows. I would like to go back to Budapest with my grandparents because when we did go I was pretty young and it’s stressing me out that that family history is not going to be around, breathing, living, forever. When we went the house my grandfather lived in was up for sale and we got to go in, he took us around and showed me the window he convinced his brother to punch through, pointed to where everything was in his room, and there are ways I wish I could have that again and really engage with it as an adult. I got weird, sorry. The other thing is I always always always want to go back to Belfast, which isn’t most people’s ideal vacation spot but it is my favorite place anywhere and I miss it and every day I’m like “why don’t I just move to Belfast instead.” Not not considering it. I’m rambling but also someday I would really like to do a pilgrimage-style trip around (probably French) medieval pilgrimage churches, like, on foot, but I hate exercise, so, who knows.
