Sorry I don’t post often! I’ve been real busy irl, but have some old(ish) art. It’s a Smile for me OC :D!

Rettel (aka "The Challenger") is a 4th wall-breaker character. Her quest is to get the 24 achievements the game has! After this, she challenges you to complete the game thee fastest you can (35 mins or less, no matter the ending). If you do complete these, she’ll gift you a pin (yeehaw)

Rettel likes challenging people and make them do their best! She’s sad about how most people try to end their games so fast that they don’t enjoy the little good things they have to offer.

In all endings, if you check the Carnival (behind the closed gate), you’ll see Rettel’s eyes staring at you, and then her smile :^D If you turn around and then look back at the same spot, she won’t be there anymore.

Trivia

Her last name (Rettel) is the word "letter" backwards.

She refuses to say what her first name is, who knows why :v

Even if you complete her quest, she won’t really smile (unless you take a photo, then you see why she doesn’t smile often :y)

Her smileys have a nose lol (:^D, :^0, >:^l and so on)

This OC and her gift are a visual joke! Her quest acts as a parody and "love letter" to games that include these type of characters/side missions/etc, where the player have to complete challenging tasks to be rewarded with good material.
