Monthly check-up! How are you and the little guys doing?

Hey! Thank you for checking in! All is well, I've just been nose to the grindstone for a little bit because I'm remodeling my bedroom in uh..... Well, basically a week lol and I just haven't had the time to actually post lol. I will however provide updates!

World Eaters are all doing well, Angron sometimes just vanishes on me and comes back with dead rodents and a whole ass rabbit once?? Wasn't pleased to see that one, we're working on it.

Custodes and the Sisters of Silence are also doing good! They really liked their time with my grandparents up north, and have been trying to get out and "help" the older folks around the village I live in. I promised them they'd be able to help me with my remodel to get them to chill out.

Nabari and Marius are doing just great, they are constantly snuggled up and the like. I did bring them into work once because they'd both gotten a wee bit of sniffles?? And they made friends with the Astartes that like to hang out on my desk, both of them got to see their brothers so it was nice.

Moving on to some more fun(?) News:

I found two Astartes of Chapters I don't actually recognize, and am working on seeing if I can find more, find out about them, and get them officially registered, though that takes an age. They are sweet boys though!

Finally, I have been asked if I'd be willing to take on a Night Lord some time in the future. Local rescue apparently found a little dude in their walls and he keeps skittering off to hide somewhere, but when they catch him, he'll be coming here to be chilled out a little bit, hopefully.

So I do apologize for my silence! I have been uber busy, saving up to get new furniture, new paint, (my electrician brother is coming in handy because he's both getting and installing new outlets and a light switch for me, hehe) but I have a TON of work to do. I'll try and post more afterwards, both here and on my alt where I intended on posting fanfics and whatnot.

Hey, hope all is good! You haven't posted in a while so I'm just checking up on ya. Hope life is treating you well and the little guys (and gals) are doing well too!

In all seriousness though, I am kind of worried for ya. It's been months after you made your 'returning' post and it's been dead silence since.

Hii! Yes, goodness, sorry it's been a minute! A lot of stuff happened back to back after my post. Work got hectic, my dad got his knee replaced, and my friend (The one who took in the Iron Warrior I found) has moved into his first home with his girlfriend! Despite that, all is well here with me, just keeping my nose to the grindstone for now so I can get winter tires and remodel my bedroom a bit, because I'm getting a little tired of my current setup haha. On top of that, I'm in the process of registering a new successor chapter whose marine I found. For the time-being, all the little guys are currently visiting my grandparents up north for a change of scenery, so I don't currently have them with me. From what I'm being told, they're having fun running around my grandparents yard in the remaining snow.

For now, consider me to be on a temporary hiatus, since I don't have the time to sit and dedicate time to a full post, however, I will be back with updates, pictures, and introductions, as we've had a couple new friends join us!

Someone is in a much calmer mood this morning. Sat in the hamper waiting for me this morning and all but demanded to be let out haha. He didn't even attack my hand this time, though it could be because I'm trying the "elevator" technique rather than just picking him up and carrying him around. I set him on the counter to explore a bit while I'm getting stuff ready.

He did climb up to look out the window, but it doesn't look like his warband is out there right now.

Re: Learning Imperial Gothic

Any Ultramarine, Emperor's Children, Nightlord, and Word Bearer owner should be in the possession of several books. Now depending who you learn from you'll either sound like a tax form or very Avantgarde poetry.

Personally I recommend you go to your local library and start there though. Its better to sound like a clumsy neophyte learning to speak than be accused of "cavorting with the enemy!" and getting your ankles stabbed for your troubles. Trust me, some astares are REAL picky about language use.

As to what he's saying, he's likely contact calling for his warband. "Brother!" Is the most common word used by a large margin. Here's a study about it (Link its a Youtube and not a rickroll).

It could have been brother, but it sounded like multiple words, so maybe it could have been something else that he was yelling, though maybe it had to to with something like brother! Though thank you for the advice! I'll deffo take a look later after work or on my breaks!

Hey I saw that you mentioned your World Eater is being moody? Maybe he’s under stimulated. One of your earlier logs mentioned shredded cardboard too.

Good point! Though I have heard that it can be normal for World Eaters to get kinda moody. I'll put a few videos on for him to watch while I'm at work, and I'll set out some entertainment for him like paper, pencils, and maybe my tablet with a few games. I'll go pick up the supplies to try and make him a mini punching bag or something over the weekend!
