Hiya!

When Ollie appears before DogDay, he has gloves on.

Is he wearing them because of DogDay or for some other reason? To hide his claws.

How did Ollie get those gloves/mittens?

Ollie is a very skilled little jester. He lives on his own and he learnt a whole lot through the time he has been alone! He knows how to stitch and sew, he’s very precise. Among other activities, he forages a lot, but not for food - for scrap and fabrics, which he uses to various projects.

Mittens are one of these! They’re made out of reused scraps and linens he has found nearby the human village 👀 but he is on a good way to know how to use the loom and once he does, he’s probably going to produce his own fabrics ^-^

He uses mittens around people that don’t know him. When he first met DogDay, he didn’t have them on because he didn’t expect him to come! Meanwhile, CatNap isn’t bothered by the sharp skelly hands, hence why Ollie didn’t wear them in his presence 🐱

Since you said you may have other toys show up in the story so you think you might have doey show up? If so I’ll be really excited!

he already has! in the comic, he has yet to show up ☺️ but I think he would!

Aside from the Smiling Critters, Nightmare Critters, and The Prototype, is it possible for any other toys (or even humans) to show up in your comic? Such as Poppy?

YESSSS

We already have sawyer as a silly tv guy

I don’t imagine him being the same bad guy as in original lore, he’s just one of these silly kids show antagonists

we also have Doey and Yarnaby! But they live further from the critter’s village

Yes I will! I’m making it as we speak. It’s taking more time because apart from my fun little comic making, I also have a big girl job. Which is… exhausting. It’s very absorbing too. And past these few days, I came home and fell on my face, every single time (I’m usually a night owl btw). But good times are coming!! Next week it’s Easter, also every important event is gone so far and I’m just finishing up lineart ☺️

Did Ollie always have the spider legs or is it similar to the canon where he added them himself to move around?

Similar to canon! He’s going to explain it, probably in the next part 😇
