One of my favorite Star Trek TOS episodes is “This Side of Paradise”

I love that we get to see Spock smile, hear him laugh, and hear him tell Leila that he loves her! I’m a sucker for romantic/happy Spock!

Though the ending saddens me because Spock says that for the first time in his life he was happy, so it makes me wonder if Spock could ever feel happiness and love again without being influenced by spores from an alien plant.
