Coming home from an appointment at my new dentist, I had a weird insight. Do you smile differently now that we all wear masks all the time? It really was such a cliche, wandering dark alleys. If it wasn't for her job, she'd have no reason to be here at all. Still, she'd probably do it anyway; Gotham seemed to have a love of cliches, and you could always count on meeting someone... interesting... in the dark.

Tonight's was not normally one to prowl filthy back alleys. Not like Scarecrow or Joker or Croc. Abandoned clinics were more his scene. She knew. She visited frequently.

"Hullo Tommy," she greeted the bandage-faced mortal, a slow grin pulling up the corners of her lips. "What brings you out here?"
