I’ll be watching Wormquake after church, but oh man, you had me at ‘cheese phone’. Also, yeah, ‘Of Rats and Men’ reaffirmed why I love this Splinter so darn much, ahhhhh!

"THE CHEESE PHONE IT MUST BE IMPORTANT." I just lost it then. Powerpuff girls ref ftw.
Someone should write a fic about how they got the cheese phone!

Not familiar at all with the Tsuburaya side of things, but so basically, the heir done farked things over and drove the company into the ground?
Basically. Kinda.
I mean Noboru doesn't sound like a nice person to begin with, but it's just an epic and perfect storm of fail whirling around the whole company. I'm still stuck at the beginning of one of the chapters. Too painful to keep on reading.

If you have them, use those humidity-sucker-thingies that are included in bags or packed food. The “do not eat” packets. They sucked all the water out of my bro’s phone when it dropped in the toilet, works just fine now.
Thanks bb, I've got three studded into this tupperware of rice and hoping for the best in the morning

I imagine warriors strike when he’s unbalanced after doing that… bull-head charge attack thingie. I think there’s also an alternate scenario where you fight him as a group, when Hawke fails to get enough respect points from him. And thanks bb!<3
True, true. But warriors lack the pure damage dealing skills rogues have? I mean, only Assassinate from the Assassin tree and Twin Fangs were making a dent in his health. I don't know. Warriors are at their best versus crowds of mooks, whereas rogues are specced for bosses and single opponent but are useless when bogged down in a fight against more than two mooks. It would be a very ardous process, wearing him down until he's dead, with a warrior, I'd imagine. the gap between him being unbalanced isn't that large, either; my rogue Hawke had to be in and out or I'd be impaled and die. But never played as one, so maybe I'm just basing it off me trying to survive as Fenris or Aveline when my Hawke bites the dust.
At least you wouldn't die as easy, I suppose.
Oh, there is, actually! It requires you to not be a Worthy Rival, to not have Fenris in the group, and also Isabela can't come back (less than a certain percent of friend/rival). I got it on my first playthrough. It was a horrible fight. Absolutely horrible. 0/10 do not recommend. (aka it's so unbelievably difficult but there's also something really SASTIFYING, story wise, about killing all the Qunari rather than just the Arishok).

"I’ve heard it’s especially tough for archer hawke’s since they need distance to be good" - I’ll just say it was a VERY long fight lol. Like trench warfare mixed with lots of columns and chugging potions, yep. Congrats on the picture-perfect win!
oh my god the length of that fight would be absurd though because you wouldn't be able to get too many shots off before he caught up and him being in range for melee attacks = almost instant death for squishy rogues
chugging potions is the one thing everyone has in common when dealing with the Arishok. Unfortunately including the Arishok.
but I have no idea how warrior hawkes would do it like maybe 2H guys would be okay but SnS? HOW. I'm so doomed when I do my SnS and 2H playthrough I'm useless at the warrior class.
and thank you! I was so proud when I noticed I'd finished him off nigh perfectly (okay, after a few dismal failures, but what can you do)
smilingthroughbrokenteeth replied to your post:I nearly had him and then I got cocky
I think I poked him to death with my rogue’s one measly archer ability from afar. Then switch to dual-wield for a killer finish, missed, and died like the loser punk I was.
I've heard it's especially tough for archer hawke's since they need distance to be good? I've never had a Hawke use two weapons, now that I think about it. I either exclusively go DW or... well. never played an archery rogue, so there's that.
getting in close to the Arishok is like the worst idea ever
I just kind of ran away until he charged, Mark of Death'd him, stealthed and Assassinationed/Twin Fanged if Assassinate was on CD. Then I ran away again and took stamnia potions a lot.

Ah, the infamous Arishok battle. You will have Stories to tell the kids one day.
and on that day, children, I ran around pillars crying and waiting for stamina, health potions and skills to cooldown
organistart replied to your post:how the actual fuck is a glass cannon melee...
Distract them with someone else maybe? No idea really I’m still stuck in dreamland in origins.
Nah, Arishok battle is solo. Which makes it far more difficult. Mages are okay since you have more versitily/healing/AOE/paralyse? haven't tried with a warrior, though.
where as rogues you are a boss melter and have no crowd control so you're just stuck and you only have like a few damage dealing attacks so you have to wait for them to CD and then you just keep dying
also are you still stuck in the fade omfg I'm so sorry
