Day 1: Armor

When he was younger, Smithy had turned his nose up at tailors. He didn't care for fashion; his heart was set on weapons and the forge. Yet as he grew older, he found places where the two intersected.

Careful and precise measurements... Meticulous detailing... Deep consideration into materials...

When he made his first gauntlet, specifically for his brother, Smithy hadn't quite realized that he had done much of the work of a tailor, but as he crafted his armor, in countless styles, with multiple considerations for the knights whom he was making it for, he started to see just how valuable their knowledge and expertise was.

For what was armor but clothing made to protect?

Baby Galahad but when he learned to walk / waddle he would latch on to everyone with king tails like Bors, Geraint, possibly Gawain and Gareth, you get the idea. And since no one has the heart to take him off they would just walk around with him on their tails and it’s like his own little adventure

It absolutely happened with Smithy.

Probably Bors, too, you're right.

Less so Geraint. He kept his distance from little Galahad, especially since Lancelot was a helicopter parent whenever he wasn't working.

What was geraints family like? How many siblings did he have and does Geraint ever participate in game knights?

How did Arthur grow up? What happened to Smithys parents? Do people still think Arthur has favoritism with Smithy?

Geraint's family was a small pack of four others. Yes, it's the medieval jackal squad, and yes, they're 100% dead in this universe. Geraint does not participate in Game Knights, since his penchant for stirring the pot and causing chaos is typically met with annoyance, unless it's just Lamorak and/or Guin there.

Arthur grew up with his parents and his brother in the town of Camelot until he moved into the castle to begin his training.

Smithy's parents died in the same incident. Either a fire or a disease, I haven't figure it out yet.

Absolutely they do and they're completely right. Arthur plays favourites.

Sometimes the fact that all the smiths are trans gets to me, and I like to think in the Office AU there’s just a giant trans flag in their office. Except all 3 of them designed it so it’s just a flag with small memes that are the trans colors.

Dindrane went one extra step and made the white stripe of the flag (already signifying nonbinary people and she knows this) into a stripe of mini meme nonbinary flags. They call it enbyception.

Smithy plays the foghorn sound effect whenever they say it and Resident Meme King™ Enid declared Dindrane as their Enby Overlord.

A lot of smiths have incredible strength in their wrists so this man can crush a watermelon in his hands with his natural strength.

Boy really didn't notice that Arthur and Lance were in love until he was told; hindsight 20/20 for this one.
